I hope this saves someone some time and allows this mixer to do accept more devices for less money. You will lose your media pool when power cycling but when testing you should leave it alone.Īlso most windows computers with Nvidia graphics cards have "Create Custom Resolution" This I have a lot of hope for but the parameters get more complicated the deeper you go. I say this because if you just leave a computer connected HDMI and run through the settings you might pass one that works. Thats when I power cycled the unit and it worked. I works for hours trying to get different combinations to work until I could not return the settings and see my laptop using the same settings that worked before. Media Player 1080i 60hz GOOD HDMI and SDI converter Sound is choppyĬanon 60D 1080i 60hz GOOD VIA cheap HDMI TO SDI converter 1080i 50/60hz With the setting on the switcher 1080i 59.94. Is there any chance that independent control of this scalier will be made accessible in future software/firmware updates? Does anybody have timings for SwitchResX that will work with this switcher for what I'm doing with this is a sub-switch that the show doesn't depend on, and I'm not charging my client for this gear this time out as it's a "beta test" set up. I've experimented with the custom timings quite a bit to see if any of the "near by" scan rate/pixel clock timing combinations will work, but nothing so far. I've installed SwitchResX 4.3.5 on the Mac and tried to set up a custom resolution that the ATEM will recognize, but no luck. The windows machine is showing up fine when I set the extended display to "1920x1080 59 (interlaced)" (I'm guessing that it's actually 59.94). I'm using it to switch four broadcast cameras that are SDI and I need to mix playback and graphics coming from a Mac running OS X 10.8.4 and a PC running Windows 8 respectively. I just bought a ATEM Production Studio 4k and I've brought it along on a gig to test it in the real world.
